Profile

I have been teaching at Lakeview for 25 years. Most of those years were spent in 6th grade, but the last 5 have been in 5th grade, which I love. I obviously enjoy working with the pre-middle school kids!

After growing up in Kirkland and graduating from Lake Washington High School, I went to WSU to obtain my teaching degree. Later, I earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I'm a big Cougar fan and enjoy the friendly rivalry with the UW fans.

My husband and I have two sons, one at Gonzaga and the other will be at WSU next year. They have both come through Lakeview and keep our lives busy with sports. I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching my son and students play sports and being part of such a great Kirkland Community.
