My name is Tonya Davidson and I am one of the 2^nd grade teachers at Lakeview. This is my 3^rd year teaching at Lakeview, but 15^th year teaching. Of those 15 years, 13 of them have been spent teaching 2^ndgrade. There is something truly magical about 2^nd graders. My favorite part of teaching is watching the “ah-ha” moment and watching the light bulbs come on in kids’ eyes when they get it.

I am originally from Portland, Oregon. I graduated from Portland State University with my Psychology and Sociology degree, and then went on to Concordia University to get my Masters in Teaching. I taught in Oregon for 2 years and then moved up here to the Seattle area. I currently live in Woodinville with my husband, 9 year old daughter, and dog named Kona. I absolutely love being outside. During the winter we love to ski as a family and in the summers we enjoy being outdoors working on our yard, hiking, or just being together as a family.
